The California Mechanical Code, 2025 Edition, including Chapter 1, which incorporates and amends the Uniform Mechanical Code, 2024 Edition, published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, is hereby adopted by this reference and incorporated herein as if set forth in full, as the mechanical code of the city.

Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of the code adopted by reference in this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished as provided in chapter 1.12 of this Code.
