3.44.010 - Definitions.

For the purpose of this chapter, "miscellaneous accounts receivables" are comprised of billings for: damages to city property, landfill and roll-off charges, false alarm, police emergency response, para-police and crossing guard services, police report requests, reimbursement for vandalism, miscellaneous police services related to juvenile arrests, replacement and repair of parkway trees, rental of city properties, reimbursements from the state or other government agencies, excavation permits, construction meter rentals and water usage, public nuisances, unpaid sewer, weed abatement and parking assessment charges, and such other new charges that are sent to the city controller's office for inclusion in the miscellaneous accounts receivable billing system.

3.44.020 - Delinquency penalty and interest.

Should any person, firm or corporation fail to pay their accounts when due, the city council, through the adoption of a resolution, shall establish a penalty and interest charge on such account, to be imposed after the due date thereof until the account plus penalty and interest are paid in full.
