§ 5.28.010. License required.

No person shall operate as a secondhand dealer in the city without first obtaining a license. Such license shall be applied for through the collector. The collector shall submit the application to the Department of Justice, State of California. In the absence of comment on the application by the Department of Justice within thirty days of the submission, the collector may grant the license.

§ 5.28.020. Applicable statutes.

Article 4, Sections 21625 through 21639, inclusive, the Business and Professions Code, Statutes of the State of California, shall apply without modification.
