§ 8.48.010. Definitions.

As used in this chapter, the following words shall have the following meanings, unless from the context another meaning is clearly intended:

"Mobile X-ray operator"

means any person, or other entity, who owns, or legally possesses, and operates a mobile X-ray unit.

"Mobile X-ray unit"

means any X-ray generator which is, or can be, used for the purpose of making medical diagnostic photofluorographic films of persons, and which is installed in or upon a motor vehicle or trailer so that it may be transported from place to place.

§ 8.48.030. Compliance with state provisions.

All mobile X-ray units shall comply with the requirements of the Radiation Control Law, as set forth in California Health & Safety Code Section 114960, et seq., or any successor provisions thereto.
