20.100.010 Operation of vehicle off roadway or parking area.¶

No person shall operate a motor vehicle off the roadway or parking portions of any public beach, park or playground. As used in this section:

A. Motor vehicle includes any motor-driven or motor-operated conveyance capable of transporting one or more persons.

B. Roadway portions include those areas improved, designed or ordinarily used for vehicular travel.

C. Parking portions are limited to those areas designated for parking of motor vehicles.

This section shall not apply to maintenance, patrol or emergency motor vehicles. (Code 1971, § 7710)
