10.300.110 Poolrooms.

A. Entry by Minors Unlawful. It shall be unlawful for any minor, under the age of 18 years, to enter or visit, or remain in any public billiard hall or poolroom or other public place where billiards or pool are played, unless such minor is accompanied by the minor’s parent or guardian or by a responsible adult authorized by the minor’s parent or guardian.

B. Allowing Minors in Poolrooms. It shall be unlawful for any person who keeps or conducts a public billiard hall or poolroom, or other public place where billiards or pool are played, whether as proprietor or lessee, agent or clerk, to permit any minor under the age of 18 years to enter or visit or remain in such billiard hall or poolroom, or other public place where billiards are played, unless such minor is accompanied by the minor’s parent or guardian or by a responsible adult authorized by the minor’s parent or guardian. 10.300.120 Boisterous conduct.

It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of 18 years at any hour of the day or night to loiter upon the public streets and, in a group of three or more persons, to conduct themselves in a loud and boisterous manner. (Code 1971, § 6113)

10.300.130 Juvenile court.

The provisions of the California Welfare and Institutions Code, and particularly Articles 6 and 7 of Chapter 2 thereof, and the procedure set forth in Section 700, shall govern the disposition of minors who violate any of the provisions of this title. (Code 1971, § 6114)

10.300.140 Drinking or possession of alcoholic beverages by minors prohibited.

Any person under the age of 18 years who drinks or has any alcoholic beverage in their possession on any private property is guilty of a misdemeanor. This section does not apply to possession by a person under the age of 18 years who is under the immediate supervision of their employer, parent, or guardian or who is in their own home. (Code 1971, § 6115)

10.300.150 Allowing minors in places where beer is sold.

No person who manages or conducts premises licensed to serve beer for consumption on the premises and in which premises alcoholic beverages are the principal commodity sold shall permit any person under the age of 21 years to enter, visit, or remain on such premises unless such person is accompanied by the person’s parent or guardian or has lawful business therein.

No person under the age of 21 years, not accompanied by their parent or guardian and without lawful business therein, shall enter, visit, or remain in any premises licensed to serve beer for consumption on the premises and in which premises alcoholic beverages are the principal commodity sold. (Code 1971, § 6116)
