6507 - Purpose and scope.¶
This article of the Airports Ordinance Code shall be called the Airports Field Regulations. These regulations are generally intended to maintain the safety of the airport through enforcement of regulations and permit procedures. The Airports Field Regulations govern all activity of persons on the airports.

6507-1 - Airport access.¶
No person shall have access to the airports for aircraft or vehicle use except at such public or commercial locations specifically designated by the Director of Airports or unless prior permission is obtained from the Director of Airports.

6507-2 - Pedestrians.¶
No unauthorized person shall be upon any Air Operations Area or Prohibited Area, unless authorization has been obtained from the Director of Airports.

6507-3 - Pedestrians in restricted areas.¶
No unauthorized person shall enter any restricted area that is marked or posted, unless authorization is obtained from the Director of Airports, or unless the area is designated as public or for commercial use.

6507-4 - Pedestrians—Failure to comply with any sign or signal.¶
No person, while upon the airports of Ventura County, shall fail to comply with any posted sign or signal nor shall such person fail to comply with an order or directive from any police officer, fire fighter, public officer, or manager or employee of such airports.

6507-5 - Sale or solicit.¶
No person shall sell or solicit the sale of any merchandise on the airports unless a permit is obtained from the Director of Airports.

6507-6 - Service or business for hire.¶
No person shall conduct or operate a business for hire or compensation, advertise or solicit business on the airport unless a commercial activity permit is obtained from the Director of Airports.

6507-7 - Commercial aeronautical activities.¶
These activities must be authorized and standards and work areas designated through properly executed leases, activity permits, or commercial activity permits.

6507-8 - Animal control.¶
Dogs and other animals on the airports, must be restrained by leash or confined in such a manner as to be under control.

6507-9 - Damage reports and responsibility.¶
Any person damaging County airports property by means of contact with any aircraft, surface vehicle or by hand shall report such damage to the Director of Airports and may be fully responsible for any cost to repair or replace the damaged property.

6507-10 - Motion picture and commercial photography.¶
No person shall take still, motion, video, or sound pictures for commercial purposes on the airports without a use permit approved by the Director of Airports.
