Upland Municipal Code Art. II Mobilehome Connection Fee

A connection fee for each mobilehome space shall be due to the city at the time the first mobilehome occupying such space is connected to the municipal water system at the park outlet provided for this purpose. The fee shall be set from time to time by resolution approved by the members of the city council.

Any person, firm or corporation which owns a mobilehome park when the connection fee is due, and any subsequent owners thereof, shall be liable for the payment of the fee.

The finance director of the city shall collect and receive the money for connection charges prior to the connection being made as provided for in the preceding sections of this article.

The moneys so collected in pursuance to this chapter shall be placed in the water facilities acquisition and expansion account for the purposes and uses established in Chapter 15.36 of the Upland Municipal Code.

Since the fee collected in this article is deposited in the water facilities acquisition and expansion account for the purposes set forth therein, the fee is in addition to the connection fee set forth in Chapter 13.04.
