10.04.010 - Definitions generally.

For the purpose of this division, the following words and phrases are defined and shall be construed as set out in this chapter unless it is apparent from the context that they have a different meaning.

10.04.020 - State Vehicle Code definitions.

Whenever any words or phrases used in this division are not defined in this chapter but are defined in the Vehicle Code of the state, such definitions are incorporated in this chapter and shall be deemed to apply to such words and phrases used in this division as though set forth herein in full.

10.04.030 - California Maintenance Manual.

"California Maintenance Manual" means that book of traffic engineering standards and instructions formulated and published by the Division of Highways of the Department of Public Works of the state entitled "Manual of Instructions." Copies of the manual shall be kept available to the public in the office of the road department.

10.04.040 - Commissioner.

"Commissioner" means the road commissioner of the county of Trinity.

10.04.050 - Local authority.

"Local authority" means the board of supervisors of the county of Trinity.

10.04.060 - Traffic ordinance.

"Traffic ordinance" means Ordinance 330 of the county, as adopted April 19, 1971, and as amended from time to time by ordinance or resolution.
