16.52.010 - Determinations which may be appealed.

Any decision made by the subdivision review committee or county surveyor pursuant to this title may be appealed to the planning commission. Any decision made by the planning commission, pursuant to this title, may be appealed by any interested person to the board of supervisors.

16.52.020 - Submittal of appeal.

A.

Any person dissatisfied with a determination by the county surveyor or subdivision review committee may appeal to the planning commission at any time within fifteen working days after the decision of the county surveyor or subdivision review committee. Such appeal shall be filed with the required fees with the planning director on forms provided by the planning director. After the appeal is filed the matter shall be scheduled for commission hearing.

B.

Any person dissatisfied with a determination by the planning commission may appeal the matter to the board of supervisors at any time within fifteen working days after the decision of the planning commission. Appeal shall be filed on a form provided by the county clerk and accompanied by the required filing fees. After the appeal is filed, the matter shall be scheduled by the county clerk for the board of supervisor[1 ] s consideration.

16.52.030 - Actions of planning commission and board of supervisors.

Upon the receipt of an appeal, the appropriate hearing body shall schedule a hearing, such hearing to occur within thirty days of the receipt of the appeal. Within ten days after the conclusion of the hearing, the hearing body shall make its findings and render its decision. It may sustain, modify, reject, or overrule any finding or decision of the subdivision review committee, county surveyor, or planning commission, and may make such findings and decisions as are not inconsistent with the provisions of state law and local ordinances, such findings and decisions to be final.
