61.1.1 GENERALLY.

All definitions contained in the Vehicle Code of this State are incorporated by reference.

61.1.2 BUS ZONE.

The space adjacent to a curb reserved for the exclusive use of buses during the loading and unloading of passengers.

A controlled highway is a highway or portion thereof at the entrance to which signals, stop or yield signs have been placed.

Whenever certain hours are named herein, they shall mean standard time or daylight saving time as may be in current use by this City.

That portion of a street other than a roadway or a sidewalk.

61.1.10 SERVICE ROAD.

That portion of the roadway within the highway right-of-way parallel with and adjacent to the main through highway and generally used as a buffer and a collector street for the abutting property.

For the purpose of this Chapter "truck" is any vehicle designed or operated for the transportation of property, and whose combined body and load weight exceed 8,000 pounds (4 tons).
