18-1 - Adoption of rules and regulations.

The town manager is authorized to set forth rules and regulations as deemed proper and necessary to regulate and govern the use, operation, control and maintenance of those parks, open spaces, and recreational lands under the control of the town. Any such rule or regulation shall be promptly transmitted to any standing advisory body, should one exist, having oversight of parks and/or open spaces, for its prompt review and recommendation to the town council. Any such rule or regulation shall be effective thirty days from its referral to said standing advisory body unless disapproved by the town council within that time period.

18-2 - Purpose of rules and regulations.

The rules and regulations to be adopted pursuant to this chapter shall be designed for the safe, sanitary, healthful and orderly use of such property, and for the general welfare and morals of the inhabitants of the town and for the visitors to such property.

18-3 - Posting of rules and regulations.

The rules and regulations adopted pursuant to this chapter shall be posted in at least one conspicuous place near the entrance to the property regulated.

18-4 - Violation.

Any person violating any rule or regulation adopted pursuant to this chapter shall be guilty of an infraction and upon conviction shall be punished as provided for in Government Code section 36900.
