9.24.010 - Purpose.¶
The purpose of this chapter is to establish fees to partially defray the reasonable expenses of the health officer of the county in enforcing the Uniform Plumbing Code relating to on-site sewage disposal systems. It is hereby found that the expenses of the health department in performing its duties pursuant to the Uniform Plumbing Code are not defrayed by fees prescribed by law.

9.24.020 - Authority.¶
The authority for this chapter is contained in Sections 450 and 510 of the California Health and Safety Code.

9.24.030 - Applicability.¶
This chapter shall be valid and enforced within the territory in which the health department and health officer enforce state statutes, orders, quarantines, rules or regulations of the State of California relating to public health, and including within the incorporated areas or territories of this county.

9.24.040 - Application fees.¶
There shall be a fee for applications for permits to construct on-site sewage disposal systems of fortysix dollars, payable to the county health department.
