Tehama Municipal Code Ch. 10.04 Speed Limits

A. Pursuant to the authority contained in the Vehicle Code of the state of California, the city council of the city of Tehama, county of Tehama, state of California sets the following speed limits.

B. It is determined that a prima facie speed limit of twenty-five (25) miles per hour shall be and is declared on all of the streets within the platted area of the city of Tehama, including all of Cavalier Drive, B Street, C Street, D Street, E Street, F Street, G Street, H Street, I Street, Second Street, Third Street, Fourth Street, and the portion of Fifth Street from the south side of I Street to the city limits of the city of Tehama north of the Central Pacific right-of-way.

C. It is determined that a prima facie speed limit of thirty-five (35) miles per hour shall be and is declared on Fifth Street from the south side of I Street south and west to the city limits.

D. Each violation of this section is deemed an infraction punishable by fine as authorized by the California Vehicle Code. ;hn0; (Ord. 168 §§ 1—4, 2007)
