10.04.010 - Unlawful acts.

It shall be unlawful for any person, except a peace officer in the discharge of his duties to discharge any firearm within the following described boundaries:

Commencing on the bank of the Sacramento River at the northerly bridge abutment of the northernmost bridge over the Sacramento River of Interstate Highway 5 and running westerly and southerly along the bank of the Sacramento River to a point where the property of the City of Red Bluff devoted to the sewage treatment plant borders the property of Diamond National Corporation, and thence westerly, northerly and southerly along the west boundary of the Diamond National Corporation property to the north bank of Red Bank Creek, and thence easterly and northerly along the north bank of Red Bank Creek to the bank of the Sacramento River and thence southerly along the bank of the Sacramento River to the Red Bluff Diversion Dam and thence easterly along the Red Bluff Diversion Dam and thence northerly along the Bureau of Reclamation access road, Sale Lane, the proposed road to the Red Bluff Recreation area, and Williams Avenue to its intersection with White Road thence westerly and northerly along White Road to the bank of the Sacramento River, thence westerly along the bank of the Sacramento River to the southern abutment of the most northerly bridge over the Sacramento River of Interstate Highway 5.

10.04.020 - Posting of signs.

"No shooting" signs shall be posted on the exterior boundaries of the shooting closure area at intervals of no less than one-quarter mile.

A violation of this chapter shall be a misdemeanor.
