15.20.010 - Drilling wells for oil and gas and installing equipment prohibited.¶
The drilling of any well or shaft for the purpose of exploring for or producing petroleum or gas, or both, and the erection, installation or use of any derrick, machinery, rig, equipment or device intended for such purpose within the city, is declared to be unlawful.

15.20.020 - Violation-Penalty.¶
Any person, firm or corporation violating any term or provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and subject to imprisonment for a term not to exceed three months, or to a fine in an amount not to exceed one thousand dollars, or to both such fine and imprisonment.
