8-7-1: DISTRIBUTION OF HANDBILLS; UNLAWFUL:¶
No person shall throw, cast or distribute, or cause to be thrown, cast or distributed, any handbill, dodger, card circular, newspaper or other advertising matter, in or upon any street or public place, or in a front yard or court yard, or on any stoop, or in the vestibule or any hall of any building, or in a letter box therein; provided, that nothing herein contained shall be deemed to prohibit or otherwise regulate the delivery of any such matter by the postal service, or the delivery of newspapers when property wrapped or tied in such a manner as to avoid fire hazard. 8-7-2: POSTING ON PUBLIC PROPERTY:¶
It shall be unlawful for any person to attach or cause to be attached to any post, building, awning or other structure or part thereof, for the purpose of distribution, any handbill, card, poster, dodger or other advertising matter. (Ord. 27 N.S., 9-2-1930)
