§ 12.28.180. Written appeal—Time limit.

An appeal from the decision of the design review committee granting or denying a permit shall be made in writing to the city council no later than five days following the decision of the design review committee.

§ 12.28.190. Delivery to city clerk—Contents.

The written appeal shall be delivered within said five-day period to the city clerk or her designee, and shall state the reasons for the appeal. The appeal shall be limited to those reasons and issues discussed at the design review committee level.

§ 12.28.200. Report to city council.

The design review committee may submit a report to the city council in writing setting forth the reasons for its decision.

§ 12.28.210. City council notification— Hearing—Decision.

Notice shall be given to the city council of said appeal and the city council shall set a hearing of the appeal; the hearing may be continued from time to time where necessary or expedient; the city council shall render a decision on the appeal no later than 45 days after the appeal is submitted. The decision of the city council shall be final.
