§ 5.96.360. General requirements.

When responding to an emergency call or operating "Code 3," the ambulance driver shall ensure by his or her action or his or her company's dispatcher that the radio is activated, that the appropriate designated dispatch center is notified, that the unit is responding to an emergency call or operating "Code 3." When the unit is responding to a County-dispatched call, the unit shall comply with all orders and directions given by the designated dispatch center.

§ 5.96.370. Preparation of zone lists.

The Permit Officer shall prepare and keep up-to-date the emergency response zone lists. The Permit Officer shall include on the list for each emergency response zone the ambulance service provider who has possession of a valid emergency ambulance service permit with the County as well as the ambulance service providers who will provide back-up emergency ambulance service for that zone.
