§ 5.32.010. Definitions.

For the purposes of this chapter, "private patrol operator" or "operator of a private patrol system," as those terms are used in this chapter shall be as defined by Business and Professions Code Section 7582.1.

§ 5.32.020. Registration required.

Before any person engages in the operation of business as a private patrol operator or operator of a private patrol system within the city, he or she shall register with the city manager and provide all of the following:

A. All of the information required for applicants for state licensure under Business and Professions Code Section 7582.7; and

B. Evidence of a current license to do business as a private patrol operator or operator of a private patrol system as required by Business and Professions Code Section 7523.

§ 5.32.030. No fee for registration—Business license.

No fee shall be charged by the city for such registration; provided, however, such person shall at all times comply with the city business license requirements.
