Chapter 21.38 — SPECIFIC PLAN DISTRICT (S-P)

§ 21.38.010. Applicability. ¶
The regulations set forth in this chapter shall apply in all S-P districts, subject to the provision of Chapter 21.08 . Other provisions of this title shall apply to S-P districts only insofar as they are not inconsistent with the specific regulations set forth in this chapter, and County Specific Plan Guidelines. This district may be used either as a specific zone which stands on its own, or in conjunction with other districts as an overlay or combining district. (Ord. CS 381 §2, 1990)
§ 21.38.020. Permitted uses. ¶
The uses permitted in an S-P district shall be those allowed by the specific plan approved by the county for that district, pursuant to County Specific Plan Guidelines. (Ord. CS 381 §2, 1990)
§ 21.38.030. Development standards. ¶
The development standards and criteria for an S-P district shall be those established by the specific plan approved by the county for that district, pursuant to County Specific Plan Guidelines. No development approvals may be issued before the specific plan has been adopted. (Ord. CS 381 §2, 1990)
§ 21.38.040. Zoning adoption or change. ¶
S-P district zoning shall be adopted or changed by the same procedure prescribed by Chapter 21.108 of this title for zoning district amendments. No S-P district zoning shall be adopted unless the county has approved or is concurrently approving a specific plan for the area to be rezoned. (Ord. CS 381 §2, 1990)
§ 21.38.050. Map numbering. ¶
Each S-P district map shall be numbered, the first adopted being shown on the zoning map as S- P(1) and each map subsequently adopted being numbered successively. (Ord. CS 381 §2, 1990)
