25.19 Patrol systems; registration required.

Every person, partnership or corporation system doing business within the city boundaries shall register his or her name and file a copy of his or her state identification card with the chief of police. Registration shall be completed within thirty days of the commencement of business within the city boundaries or within thirty days of the effective date of this section, whichever is later. Any change of name, change in corporate or partnership status, change of status as a patrol system or change in status with regard to the state identification card shall be reported to the chief of police within one week of the change. 25.20 Patrol officers; registration required.

Every patrol officer employed by a patrol system required to register with the chief of police pursuant to section 25.19 shall register his or her name and file a copy of his or her state identification card with the city manager. Registration shall be completed within thirty days of the commencement of employment as a patrol officer or within thirty days of the effective date of this section, whichever is later. Any change of name, change in employment status or change in status with regard to the state identification card shall be reported to the chief of police within one week of the change. (Ord. No. 1983, § 61.)
