Division 1 — Generally

One copy of each of the codes adopted by reference in Article I of this chapter is on file in the office of the building official for use and examination by the public. Wherever the provisions of the state housing law (Division 13, Part 1.5, beginning with Section 17910 of the Health and Safety Code of the state) shall impose requirements more stringent than those established by this article, the provisions of the state housing law shall be applied by the building division.
