Sec. 10-21. - Purposes of article.

The declared purposes of this article are to provide for the conservation, control and distribution of those resources of this county which are essential to survival and recovery of individuals, government and the business economy of the county during and following a local emergency or a state of emergency, as defined in the California Emergency Services Act.

Sec. 10-22. - "Resources" defined.

As used in this article, the term "resources" means all foods for humans or animals and all essential survival items, services, supplies, and equipment declared to be in critical supply by the director of emergency services, during a local emergency or a state of emergency.
