2.28.010 - Compensation for elected officials.

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 36516 of the Government Code, members of the city council shall receive salaries in the amount of six hundred twelve dollars per month, to take effect as provided in Section 36516.5 of the Government Code. Until such effective date, councilmembers shall receive salaries in the amount of five hundred ten dollars per month. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 36516.1 of the Government Code, the elected mayor shall receive one hundred dollars per month in addition to his or her salary as a councilmember.

2.28.020 - Health plan coverage for councilmembers.

A councilmember may elect to be included, and to have his or her dependents included, in the roll of employees covered by the city's health, accident and dental plan, at the councilmember's expense. In such case the cost of coverage shall either be paid directly to the city as premiums become due, or the councilmember may authorize payment by deduction from amounts due as salary under the provisions of Section 2.28.010 of this chapter.

2.28.030 - Compensation of city clerk.

The city clerk shall receive a salary of ten dollars per month.
