Solana Beach Municipal Code Ch. 8.12 Leg-Hold Traps

It shall be unlawful for any person to set, trigger, activate or otherwise use, or cause to be set, triggered, activated or used, any leg-hold trap within the city. A “leg-hold trap” is any spring-powered device used to trap animals which has metal jaws that clamp shut on an animal’s leg or other body part when the animal steps on or comes in contact with the trap’s pressure-sensitive trigger.
