Sec. 6-4.01. - Permit required for door-to-door or person-to-person sellers.

It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the business of selling, soliciting, or taking orders for goods, wares, merchandise, periodicals, subscriptions, or photographs from house-to-house or person-to-person without first having obtained from the Sheriff-Coroner a written permit to do so.

Sec. 6-4.02. - Permit required for auctioneers.

It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the business of auctioneer without first having obtained from the Sheriff-Coroner a written permit to do so.

Sec. 6-4.03. - Violations of chapter.

Any person who engages in any of the activities for which a permit is required by the provisions of this chapter without first obtaining such permit shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
