Sierra County Municipal Code Ch. 31.04 Fire Hazard Map Adopted

The County of Sierra hereby designates the Fire Hazard Severity Zones as recommended by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection pursuant to Cal. Gov’t. Code § 51178.

The map, approved by the County, is hereby incorporated by reference, and entitled “Sierra County – Unincorporated LRA: Local Responsibility Area Fire Hazard Severity Zones” as identified by the State Fire Marshal, dated January 22, 2025, and as may be updated from time to time by the State Fire Marshal.
