5.08.010 - Carnival license required—Fee.¶
Every person, firm or corporation who carries on or conducts any carnival outside any incorporated area of any city and within the county shall procure, before such carnival is conducted and carried on, a license so to do, and pay a license fee to the county of forty dollars per day for each day such carnival is to be conducted and carried on.

5.08.020 - Circus license required—Fee.¶
Every person, firm or corporation who carries on and conducts any circus outside any incorporated area of any city and within the county shall procure, before such circus is so conducted and carried on, a license so to do, and pay a license fee to the county of ten dollars per day for each day such circus is to be conducted and carried on.

5.08.030 - Vaudeville license required —Fee.¶
Every person, firm or corporation who carries on or conducts any tent show or vaudeville show outside any incorporated area of any city and within the county shall procure, before such tent show or vaudeville is so conducted and carried on, a license so to do, and pay a license fee to the county of fifteen dollars per day for each day such tent show or vaudeville show is to be conducted and carried on.

5.08.040 - Procuring license.¶
The procuring of a license and the charges for the license under the provisions of this chapter shall be effective and collectible if all or any part of the circus, carnival or tent show or vaudeville show shall be on property or conducted outside of the incorporated limits of the cities of the county.

5.08.050 - Fees When due Purpose.¶
The license fees enumerated above shall be due and collectible in advance for each day; and the licenses herein required and the license fees charges shall be deemed to be for regulation of the business.

5.08.060 - Fees Waiver.¶
The board of supervisors, upon due application, may waive any or all fees herein required whenever said businesses herein provided to be licensed shall be sponsored by local nonprofit associations or by the Intermountain Fair Association or the Twenty-Seventh Agricultural District Fair.

5.08.070 - Security guards.¶
Before any circus, carnival, tent show or vaudeville show is established, operated or conducted, proof shall be furnished to the sheriff that the services of a private patrol operator, licensed under Article 3 (commencing with Section 7520) of Chapter 11 of Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code, have been obtained to provide security services for the premises upon which these shows or performances will occur during the time that the circus, carnival, tent show or vaudeville show is in possession of the premises.

5.08.080 - Violations.¶
A. No person shall establish, operate or conduct any circus, carnival, tent show or vaudeville show without first securing the license and paying the license fees to the county clerk, as required by this chapter.
B. No person shall establish, operate or conduct any circus, carnival, tent show or vaudeville show without providing for the premises and each show or performance the services of a private patrol operator pursuant to Section 5.08.070.
C. Each show or performance conducted as part of a circus, carnival, tent show or vaudeville show established, operated or conducted in violation of the provisions of this chapter is deemed to be a separate offense and may be punished separately from every other offense.
