Editor's note— Ord. No. 107.2, § 1, adopted Oct. 5, 2011, repealed the former Ch. 13.12, §§ 13.12.005—13.12.425. Section 2 of said ordinance enacted a new Ch. 13.12 as set out herein. The former Ch. 13.12 pertained to hazardous materials storage permit and derived from Ord. No. 107, § 1, adopted 1983; Ord. No. 117, § 1, adopted 1985; Ord. No. 117.1, §§ 1—4, adopted 1996.

The City of Scotts Valley hereby adopts by reference, as though fully set forth herein, Chapter 7.100 (regarding Hazardous Materials) of the Santa Cruz County Code, as presently worded or hereafter modified.

The Santa Cruz County Health Officer is hereby designated as the city health officer for purposes of enforcing the above referenced regulations.

Any appeals allowed by the regulations referenced in Section 13.12.010 shall be made to the Scotts Valley City Council in writing, delivered to the office of the city clerk within ten working days from the time of the decision being appealed. The notice of appeal shall set forth the appellant's name, the phone number for the appellant, an address to which notices may be sent to the appellant and the grounds upon which the appeal is made. A hearing on the appeal shall be held within thirty days of the date of the appeal and shall be de novo.

Fees may be established from time to time by the city council by resolution.
