13.10.481. Purposes of the Salamander Protection SP Combining District. ¶
The purposes of the Salamander Protection or SP Combining District are:
(A) To designate those lands which are located in the Santa Cruz Long-Toed Salamander's breeding ponds and terrestrial habitats.
(B) To ensure the survival of this State and Federally designated endangered animal subspecies through protection of its natural habitat.
(C) To regulate the use of such lands in accordance with the provisions of the sensitive habitat protection ordinance, Chapter 16.32 SCCC, which apply to the protection of the habitat of the salamander.

13.10.482. Designation of the Salamander Protection SP Combining District. ¶
The Salamander Protection SP Combining District shall be used to denote those properties which are located within the breeding ponds and terrestrial habitat of the Santa Cruz Long-Toed Salamander.

Use and development standards for the Salamander Protection SP Combining District shall be as set forth in the sensitive habitat protection ordinance, SCCC § 16.32.090(C)(2)(a), Santa Cruz LongToed Salamander.
