Sec. 2-171. - Declaration of need.¶
It is hereby found, determined, and declared that there is a need for a redevelopment agency to function in the city in accordance with the provisions of the community redevelopment law.

Sec. 2-172. - Established; powers.¶
The redevelopment agency is hereby established pursuant to Health and Safety Code § 33101 and shall be known as the Sanger Redevelopment Agency. The redevelopment agency is hereby authorized to transact business and exercise its power under provisions of the community redevelopment law.

Sec. 2-173. - City council declared redevelopment agency.¶
Pursuant to the provisions of Health and Safety Code § 33200 the city council is declared the redevelopment agency of the city.

Sec. 2-174. - Meetings.¶
The redevelopment agency shall conduct its regular meetings on the first and third Thursdays of each month at the hour of 7:00 p.m., in the Council Room of Sanger City Hall, 1700 7th Street, Sanger, California.
