Sanger Municipal Code § 2-1 Date of general municipal elections

Sec. 2-1. - Date of general municipal elections.¶
The general municipal elections of the city shall be consolidated with and held on the same day as the even-numbered statewide general election.

Sec. 2-2. - Destruction of city records.¶
Duplicate and obsolete records of the city shall be destroyed by a means which will not allow them to be readily restored or reconstituted, and under the following procedure:
(1) In accordance with Government Code §§ 34090, 34090.5, 34090.7 and 53921 and other applicable law.
(2) After application for their destruction has been approved by the city attorney or his duly authorized representative.
(3) Upon approval by resolution of the city council after the approval of the city attorney or his authorized representative has been granted.

Sec. 2-3. - City departments.¶
The administration of the city shall be accomplished by the following departments:
(1) Development services.
(2) Community services.
(3) Finance.
(4) Economic development.
(5) Police.
(6) Fire.
(7) City clerk.
(8) City attorney.
(9) Public works.
