San Rafael Municipal Code Ch. 11.01 Elevation Base

The base or plane marking the zero point of all elevations for street and sewer grades and of all bench marks shall hereafter be designated as low water base, which shall be and is 34.31 feet below the top of a copper plug set in the southerly end of the lowest step of the city hall. (Ord. 74).
