16.05.01: DECLARATION OF ABANDONMENT:

Whenever any driveway from a public street or across any public parkway and whenever any curb cut removal of any curbing along the public streets shall have been abandoned for a period of time in excess of six (6) months, then at any time thereafter, the City Council may, upon the recommendation of the Director of Public Works, declare the same abandoned and its use discontinued. 16.05.02: REPAIR OF ABANDONED DRIVEWAYS AND CURB CUTS:

Whenever any curb cut, curb removal, driveway or driveway approach in any public street or across any public parkway shall have been abandoned for a period of time in excess of six (6) months, then the Director of Public Works or City Council may order the same improved and repaired in accordance with the provisions of the statutes providing for the improvement and repair of streets and other public places in municipalities 1 , and the cost of such repairs may be made a lien against the land in the manner provided by law.
