08.01.01: DEFINITIONS: ¶
The following words and phrases, when used in this Chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this Section: COST OF ABATEMENT: All actual costs incurred by the City in connection with the abatement including, but not limited to, preparation of work orders and/or contracts, labor and inspection costs, cost of rental equipment, legal fees or, if City equipment is used, the cost of commercial rental or similar equipment. The City shall offset any salvage value resulting from the abatement against the cost of abatement.
OWNER: Such person or persons shown as the owner(s) of the real property on the last equalized assessment roll of the Los Angeles County Tax Assessor. (Ord. 952, 3-8-89)
