24.510.010 - Purpose.¶

The purpose of this chapter is to establish a civil penalty schedule for enforcement of any violation of any regulation governing the standing or parking of a vehicle under the California Vehicle Code, any federal statute or regulation, or any ordinance enacted by local authorities.

24.510.020 - Enforcement of parking regulations.¶

The director of airports (hereinafter "airport") and other law enforcement agencies are authorized to enforce the civil penalties. The auditor-controller or his designee (hereinafter "auditor") is authorized to process the citation set forth in this chapter pursuant to the procedures set forth in Division 17, Article 3 of the California Vehicle Code (Vehicle Code Section 40200 et seq.).

24.510.050 - Schedule of civil penalties for unlawful standing or parking.¶

Any violation, occurring within the jurisdiction of San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport and Oceano County Airport, of any regulation governing the standing or parking of a vehicle under the California Vehicle Code, any federal statute or regulation, or any ordinance or resolution lawfully enacted by local authorities, shall be subject to the following penalty schedule and shall be collected as a civil penalty:

San Luis Obispo County Code 24.24.041 — Red curb — No parking at any time. Vehicles in violation will be towed away at owner's expense.	50.00 A

A Fee has been adjusted to include mandated surcharges allowed by the State of California and previously adopted by resolution of the Board of Supervisors. The Board has delegated the authority to the Auditor-Controller to periodically adjust the penalty amounts for pass through mandated charges.
