PROCUREMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS

This Chapter addresses the inclusion of environmental mitigation measures in a Public Works Contract.

Every Public Works Contract will include appropriate requirements for the Contractor to complete the applicable environmental mitigation measures adopted by the City or other lead agency as a condition of approving the underlying project. (Ord. 30308.)

The Director, in coordination with the Director of Planning, will document completion of the environmental mitigation measures required by the Public Works Contract before finally accepting the work performed under the contract. (Ord. 30308.)

The procurement documents for any Public Works Contract must include appropriate provisions implementing this Chapter 27.18. (Ord. 30308.)
