The Central Permit Bureau at the Department of Building Inspection collects construction permit (building permit) fees in accordance with the San Francisco Building Code. When the Fire Department conducts plan review for buildings or portions of buildings under its authority, the Department will assess plan review fees in accordance with Section 108.4. When the Fire Department conducts inspections for buildings or portions of buildings under its authority, the Department will assess inspection fees in accordance with Section 108.5.
