§ 5.16.220. Registration of volunteer service, civic or other groups.¶
Following registration and filing of volunteer/workers' compensation forms with the city of San Bruno, any volunteer service, civic or other group of individuals shall be authorized to engage in clean-up or painting out of graffiti as contemplated by this ordinance once consent from a property owner is obtained. Upon such registration, for the purposes of Labor Code Section 3363.5, volunteers shall be covered under the city of San Bruno's workers' compensation insurance coverage.

§ 5.16.230. Appropriation for removal—Education.¶
The city of San Bruno may utilize city funds to remove or paint over graffiti or other inscribed material for publicly or privately owned structures located on publicly or privately owned property within the city as provided for in Government Code Section 53069.3. The city may also utilize funds to establish anti-graffiti education programs within the community.

§ 5.16.240. Consent forms.¶
Property owners in the city may consent in advance to entry onto private property and abatement of graffiti nuisances by this chapter by city employees, agents volunteer service, civic or other group authorized by the city for graffiti removal purposes. The city will make forms for such consent available. Consent may be given to remove currently existing graffiti only or to remove any future graffiti that may be placed on the property for a period not to exceed two years.
