5-4.101 - Permit required to construct sewer.¶

No person shall connect any sewer with, or build or construct any sewer connecting with, or make any opening in, or make any connection whatsoever with, any sewer under the jurisdiction of the City without having first obtained a permit therefor from the Street Superintendent.

5-4.102 - Issuance of permits.¶

All permits required by the provisions of this article shall be issued in accordance with regulations prescribed therefor by the Council.

5-4.103 - Enforcement: Violations.¶

Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. The Street Superintendent is hereby authorized to prevent any unauthorized connection with or opening in any sewer under the jurisdiction of the City and to disconnect and remove any unauthorized connection and close any unauthorized opening. The cost thereof, not to exceed Two Hundred and no/100ths ($200.00) Dollars, shall be added to and become a part of the fine imposed upon the person found guilty of making such unauthorized connection or opening.
