Salinas Municipal Code § 7-50 Penalty for violation of chapter

(a) Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter, except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, shall be guilty of an infraction.

(b) The failure to comply with any order of the director of public health as provided in Section 7-2, or any order issued pursuant to Section 7-47, or any interference with the poundmaster or any of his deputies as provided in Section 7-14, shall constitute a misdemeanor. Any person violating or failing to comply with Sections 7-34 or 7-41 of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
