3.136.090 Definitions-Generally.¶
The definitions contained in this chapter govern the construction of this chapter unless the context otherwise requires. The definition of a word or phrase applies to any variants thereof. (Prior code § 85.02.100)
3.136.100 Assessment district.¶
"Assessment district" means an assessment district formed pursuant to this chapter. (Prior code § 85.02.110)
3.136.110 City clerk.¶
"City clerk" or "clerk" means city clerk of the city of Sacramento. (Prior code § 85.02.120)
3.136.120 City manager.¶
"City manager" means the city manager of the city of Sacramento. (Prior code § 85.02.130)
3.136.130 Finance director.¶
"Finance director" means the finance director of the city of Sacramento. (Prior code § 85.02.140)
3.136.140 Fiscal year.¶
"Fiscal year" means a twelve (12) month period commencing on July 1st and ending on the following June 30th. (Prior code § 85.02.150)
3.136.150 Property owner.¶
"Property owner" means any person shown as the owner of land on the last equalized county assessment roll; when such person is no longer the owner, then any person entitled to be shown as owner on the next county assessment roll, if such person is known to the city; where land is subject to a recorded written agreement of sale, any person shown therein as purchaser. (Prior code § 85.02.160)
3.136.160 Additional library services.¶
"Additional library services" are library services over and above, and in addition to, the basic library services funded by general fund resources of the city, including, without limitation, additional open hours at neighborhood, community, and regional libraries, additional professional library staff at neighborhood and community libraries including children's librarians, acquisition of additional books, magazines, newspapers, videos and other library materials, enhanced reference services for businesses, and literacy, cultural and educational programs such as "homework centers" for students. 3.136.170 Resolution.¶
"Resolution" includes an ordinance. (Prior code § 85.02.180)
