§ 11.14.010. Riding on sidewalks permitted.¶
Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, bicycles may be ridden on any sidewalk, provided that pedestrians shall at all times have the right-of-way and bicycles shall be ridden at such speed and with such care so as not to endanger any pedestrian.

§ 11.14.020. Riding on particular sidewalks prohibited.¶
A. It is unlawful to ride a bicycle on the sidewalks in any of the following locations:
Vernon Street, between Judah Street and the intersection of Vernon and Atlantic Streets;
Lincoln Street, between Atlantic Street and Oak Street;
Grant Street, between Atlantic Street and Oak Street;
Lincoln Street, between Pacific Street and Main Street;
Main Street, between Lincoln Street and Placer Street;
Church Street, between Lincoln Street and Washington Boulevard.
B. The director shall give notice of this section by appropriate posted signs or pavement markings.

§ 11.14.030. Riding in underpass.¶
It is unlawful to ride a bicycle upon the sidewalk of the Washington Boulevard underpass. Bicycle riders utilizing the underpass sidewalk shall walk their bicycles. The director shall give notice of this section by appropriate posted signs or pavement markings.

§ 11.14.040. Parental responsibility.¶
It is unlawful for the parent or guardian of any child to authorize or knowingly permit such child to violate any of the provisions of this chapter or to do any of the acts prohibited by this chapter.
