6.04.010 - Short title.

This title shall be known as and may be cited and referred to as "The Animal Control Ordinance."

6.04.020 - Acts by deputies authorized.

Whenever a power is granted to or a duty is imposed upon the Director or other public officers, the power may be exercised or the duty may be performed by a deputy of the officer or by a person authorized, pursuant to law, by the officer, unless this title expressly provides otherwise.

6.04.030 - Penalty for violation of this title.

No person shall violate any provisions, or fail to comply with any of the requirements of this title. Any person violating any of the provisions or failing to comply with any of the requirements of this title shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not exceeding six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each such person shall be guilty of a separate offense for each and every day during any portion of which any violation of any provisions of this title is committed, continued or permitted by such person and shall be punishable accordingly.
