5.36.010 - Definitions.

For purposes of this chapter, the definitions set forth in Rocklin Municipal Code Section 5.24.020 shall apply to terms used in Sections 5.36.020 through 5.36.040.

5.36.020 - Register required—Contents.

Every person who is an operator of a hotel within the city of Rocklin shall keep a register containing the following information for each person who stays at the hotel:

Name Address Vehicle Year, Make, Model, Color License Plate State in Which the Vehicle is Registered Date of Arrival Date of Departure Number of Guests

5.36.030 - Register—Inspection.

The register shall be available and shall be presented for examination upon request of the chief of police, any sworn police officer of the city, and any other person with authority to exercise peace officer powers within the city as authorized by the chief of police.

5.36.040 - Violation.

It is unlawful for any person to operate a hotel without complying with the provisions of this chapter. Failure to comply with the provisions of this chapter shall constitute a misdemeanor.
