16.28.010 - Legal conformity—Development restriction basis.¶
A. The size, design, character, grade location, orientation and configuration of lots within the proposed subdivision and all public improvements required in connection therewith shall be consistent with the density and uses authorized for the area by the general plan and zoning code of the city, and any applicable specific plans, and the design and improvement standards.
B. The density, timing or sequence of development may be restricted by considerations of safety, traffic access or circulation, the slope of the terrain, the physical suitability of the site (including soil conditions), the nature and extent of existing development, the availability of public utilities, or other provisions of this title.

16.28.020 - Lot-zoning conformity.¶
All subdivision shall result in lots which comply with the requirements set forth for the zone(s) in which the property is located as set forth in Title 17.

16.28.030 - Access rights waiver.¶
There may be imposed on an offer of dedication, or a dedication of any street, a requirement that access rights to such street from any property shown on a final or parcel map abutting such street be waived, as authorized by Section 66476 of the Subdivision Map Act.
