2.80.010 - Juvenile detention facilities.

Pursuant to Section 850 of the Welfare and Institutions Code, juvenile detention facilities are established as follows:

A. A detention facility, known as Riverside Juvenile Hall, is established at 3933 Harrison Street in the city of Riverside.

B. A detention facility, known as Indio Juvenile Hall, is established at 47-665 Oasis Street in the city of Indio.

C. A detention facility, known as Southwest Juvenile Hall, is established at 30755C Auld Road in the city of Murrieta.

2.80.020 - Juvenile camps/ranches.

Pursuant to Section 881 of the Welfare and Institutions Code, juvenile camps/ranches are established as follows:

A. A juvenile camp, known as Twin Pines Ranch, is established at 49500 Twin Pines Road, near the city of Banning.

B. A juvenile camp, known as Van Horn Youth Center, is established at 10000 County Farm Road in the city of Riverside.

C. Juvenile camps, known as Desert Youth Academy and Riverside Youth Academy, are established on the sites of Indio Juvenile Hall and Riverside Juvenile Hall, respectively. These units share the kitchen and other support elements of the host facilities but operate as separate entities with unique programming.

2.80.030 - Juvenile home at 3903 Harrison.

Pursuant to Section 881 of the Welfare and Institution Code, a juvenile home shall be established at 3903 Harrison in the city of Riverside.

2.80.040 - Day care homes.

Pursuant to Section 880 to 891, inclusive, of the Welfare and Institutions Code, day care homes known as the "Riverside Motivational Center," the "San Cavetano and the Alvord Motivational Center" are and have been since November 10, 1976, established in the county. The day care homes shall be under the administration of the probation officer.

2.80.050 - Public schools.

Pursuant to Sections 856 and 889 of the Welfare and Institutions Code, the Riverside County superintendent of schools shall establish and maintain public schools on the sites and serving the residents of the above facilities.
