11.32.010 - Gambling house prohibited.¶
It is unlawful for any person, either as principal, agent, employee or otherwise, to keep, conduct or maintain within the city of Richmond, any house, room, apartment or place, used in whole or in part, as a gambling house or place where any game not mentioned in Sections 330, 330a and 337a of the Penal Code of the state of California is placed, conducted, dealt or carried on with cards, dice, or other device for money, checks, chips, credit or any other representative of value.
11.32.020 - Permitting gambling house to be kept prohibited.¶
It is unlawful for any person, either as principal, agent, employee or otherwise, knowingly to permit any house, room, apartment or place owned by him or under his charge or control in the city of Richmond to be used in whole or in part as a gambling house or place for playing, conducting, dealing or carrying on any game not mentioned in Sections 330, 330a and 337a of the Penal Code of the state of California with cards, dice, or other device for money, checks, chips, credit or any other representative of value.
11.32.030 - Participating in gambling prohibited.¶
It is unlawful for any person to play or bet at any game not mentioned in Sections 330, 330a and 337a of the Penal Code of the state of California which is played, conducted, dealt, or carried on with cards, dice or other device for money, checks, chips, credit or any other representative of value, at any place within the corporate limits of the city of Richmond.
11.32.040 - Operation of certain machines prohibited.¶
It is unlawful for any person, either as principal or agent, in the city of Richmond to operate or play, or cause or permit to be operated or played, any machine known as an automatic gum vending machine or any other vending machine or other device where such machine or vending machine or other device returns or pays to the person playing such machine or device, in addition to the merchandise vended by such machine or device, money, checks, chips, slugs, balls, or other thing of value or representative of value, or which dependent upon chance returns or pays to the person playing such machine or device amounts of merchandise varying in value.

11.32.050 - Frequenting gambling places prohibited.¶
No person shall resort to, attend or be in any house, room, or other place which is barred, barricaded, built or protected in such a manner as to make ingress or access difficult to police officers and in which there is any gambling device, equipment or paraphernalia.

11.32.060 - Presence at gambling prohibited.¶
It shall be unlawful for any person knowingly to visit, frequent, or be present at or within any house, room or other place used in whole or in part as a gambling house or place for playing, conducting, dealing, or carrying on any game with cards, dice or other devices for money, checks, chips, credit or any other representative of value.
