§ 10-2.2200. Specific purpose. ¶
The Coastal Development Permit procedure is established to ensure that public or private development within the coastal zone conforms to the policies and programs of the California Coastal Act (Division 20 of the Public Resources Code), the City of Redondo Beach Certified Local Coastal Program, and the General Plan. The requirements for Coastal Permits are subject to the requirements of Article 10, Chapter 5, Title 10 of the Redondo Beach Municipal Code (Zoning Ordinance for the Coastal Zone). § 10-2.2202. Applicability. ¶
All properties in the coastal zone, as defined by the California Coastal Act are subject to the procedures outlined in this article. The coastal zone boundaries are indicated in the map below.
